Just in time for the spring season, FIAT announces new 124 Spider Urbana Edition. Based off the Classica model, the new family guy comes with Black Diamond 17-inch aluminum wheels with performance tires, dual bright exhaust tips and Piano Black exterior accents, plus a Gloss Black finish on the front pillar bar bezel, seat-back pillar and mirror caps.
In terms of interior, Urbana edition includes matte gray accents, Urbana leather/microfiber seats and revised instrument cluster hood and instrument panel.
Exclusively for 2019 model year, there are also three new options available. These include Record Monza Exhaust, Valeno Appearance Group and new custom center strips.
Additionally, the roadster comes with the trustworthy 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo four-cylinder power unit. It generates a total of 164hp and 184lb-ft of torque. This output is controlled via a six-speed manual gearbox. There’s also an exclusive six-speed automatic transmission.
Drivetrain-wise, 124 Spider uses double-wishbone layout suspension system in front and a multi-link in the rear, both exclusively tuned for greater stability and cornering confidence. There are also new electric-power assist and NVH enhancements, including an acoustic front windshield and insulation treatment that help for a smooth, pleasurable and quiet ride. Neat!
And last, but not least, the vehicle is available with an array of safety features, including full LED-adaptive front headlamps, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection and ParkView rear backup camera.
In terms of utility and comfort, new 124 Urbana Edition offers Keyless Enter and Go, Bluetooth connectivity, heated seats and Bose premium nine-speaker audio system. Sweet! Enjoy!
