Enthusiasts and collectors alike will be in for a treat when two iconic American classics go on sale at BCA Blackbushe on 21st October 2015.
With only one previous UK owner and a previous US owner in Hollywood, the 1957 Ford Thunderbird 5.1 V8 Convertible has been fully restored to a very high standard. Finished in steel grey with black and cream leather upholstery and lots of chrome, this T’Bird exudes star quality. The 1957 Thunderbird is an iconic model – even Marilyn Monroe was said to be a fan – and BCA expect this example to attract a lot of attention from buyers looking for their own ‘Hollywood’ experience.
The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 4.6 Sedan Saloon has been on British soil since 1989. Finished in two-tone teal and mint with matching leather interior, the car has been fully restored and is offered with two files of invoices and receipts detailing the work, plus books recording the restoration. Unusually, this Chevrolet Bel Air has a manual gearbox rather than the more commonly found Turboglide or Powerglide auto transmissions. This imposing stateside classic is in great condition and would be equally at home on the road or displayed in Concours D’Elegance events.
