Sweden’s pride, Volvo and its latest XC40 machine has been named Compact Luxury SUV of Texas by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) at the annual Truck Rodeo event. The XC40 was also recognized as the vehicle with best connectivity features.
As you might know, this is not the first Volvo machine to succeed at such event – XC90 and XC60 have earned numerous awards and recognitions back in 2016 and 2017 respectively. Brand’s legacy of success dates back to 2002, when the first generation of XC90 machines rolled out of fabrics and became the first-ever SUV to take home coveted Truck of Texas Award. Neat!
As it comes to the vehicle itself, new XC40 is built on brand’s new Compact Modular Architecture that allows incorporation of ground-braking technologies, wrapped in modern and sexy design. Launched in the US in conjunction with Care by Volvo, new XC40 comes with all-inclusive vehicle subscription service, with numerous bonuses and additional goodies.
